Energy efficiency in buildings and urban environments is vital to achieving climate, energy and development objectives in emerging economies. Driving Transformation to Energy Efficient Buildings outlines policy options available for developing countries to accelerate energy efficiency. The report is the result of a collaborative partnership with the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, the Center for Clean Air Policy, the U.S. Green Building Council, and the World Green Building Council. New in this 2nd edition is a building efficiency policy assessment tool that provides a simple framework to help decision-makers evaluate policy priorities through dialogue and input from key stakeholders. This edition includes new content on private-sector policy priorities that create favorable market conditions for investment in buildings efficiency.

In this webinar-based training, representatives from Johnson Controls provide an overview of the new report contents and "facilitators training" in how to use Johnson Control’s new Building Efficiency Policy Assessment Tool to help policymakers develop a sound building efficiency policy strategy with input from local stakeholders.
