In a fact sheet released by the White House on 23 September, the Clean Energy Solutions Center was highlighted as a key collaborating program supporting a new international energy partnership focused on “energy efficiency accelerators”. The energy efficiency accelerators are a coalition of foundations and private companies pursuing policy reforms and commercialization of new technologies in buildings, appliances and lighting, and transport. These energy efficiency accelerators were one of several multi-stakeholder initiatives launched during the United Nations Climate Summit.
The White House fact sheet also acknowledged the leadership of the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM). The Clean Energy Solutions Center is one of the CEM initiatives. For more information, see the White House fact sheet.
