Industrial Engineer, Energy Efficiency Division, Ministry of Energy of Chile
Marcelo Padilla is part of the team of the Energy Efficiency Division at Energy Ministry of Chile. He is responsible for coordination of the labeling program and the minimum energy performance standards in the ministry. He has been working on these issues since 2007. He has also been coordinator of the en.lighten initiative in Chile and has been part of the GEF project team to accelerate the transition to efficient lighting in Chile. Marcelo is industrial engineer from the University of Chile, and he has a Master of Applied Economics from Georgetown University.
