Christopher Sewell is the executive director of CleanTech Methods, Inc. and an expert in renewable energy project development and finance. CTM develops software solutions that accelerate clean energy development and finance. CTM also provides consulting services to prepare renewable energy projects for financial presentations and capital raising activities. He is passionate about the power sector’s role in creating a decentralized, affordable renewable energy future for everyone.
Chris has worked extensively in Latin America, as an employee and as an expert consultant for several global multilateral institutions including the Inter-American Development Bank, the International Renewable Energy Agency and the United Nations Secretary General’s office. He can provide detailed guidance on working within these and other large institutions. Additionally, Chris has experience as an analyst in U.S. carbon offset and renewable energy credits (REC) markets, as well as the power sector impacts on climate change.
Mr. Sewell received a Master of Science in Energy and Climate Policy at Johns Hopkins University and a dual Bachelors of Arts degree in International Affairs and Spanish.
