Javier Lascurain is an expert in small-scale energy technologies that serve the world’s low-income populations. He has completed numerous impact assessments, policy evaluations, business model pilots and marketing strategies to facilitate purchase and adoption of improved cookstoves and clean cooking fuels. He has worked in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Javier also possesses significant experience in carbon credit markets and provides advisory services in this area as part of his work as Managing Director at Fast-Track Carbon. Javier is fluent in English and French and is a native Spanish speaker. He holds a dual Master’s degree in Engineering and Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.
