The Institute for Industrial Productivity (IIP) has launched two new databases that provide easy access to information on industrial energy efficiency and financing programs. In addition, IIP has recently added more than 200 U.S. industrial energy efficiency resources to its on-line resource library.

IIP’s new Industrial Efficiency Programs Database (IEPrD) provides information on programs that promote the adoption of energy management systems in China, the United States, Europe and Australia. This database also showcases state and province-level utility energy efficiency resource acquisition programs that have successfully increased the energy efficiency of industrial companies in North America—through utilities or third parties.

The new Industrial Efficiency Financing Database (IEFD) identifies vehicles and programs that successfully deliver financing for industrial energy efficiency. It catalogues financial programs, products and mechanisms that can help leverage public and private funds to increase industrial energy efficiency and mitigate carbon emissions.

The IEPrD and IEFD augment the existing suite of databases that IIP maintains to disseminate reliable information on industrial energy efficiency. Other databases in the suite focus on policies from around the world, supply chain initiatives and best-practice energy efficiency technologies.
