This recorded webinar helps policymakers design policies to encourage smart grids by defining what makes an electricity grid "smart" and proposing a methodology to measure the smartness of the electricity grid. Participants also learn how to track the status of smart grid development with a defined framework of six characteristics that a smart grid should meet. Progress in the development of each characteristic is assessed by several key performance indicators.
