This report analyzes a wide range of technologies and investment perspectives in three different locations in Indonesia: Lamandau, Sabu and Sumba. These Sustainable Energy for Remote Indonesian Grids (SERIG) sites all showed technical and economic feasibility from enhanced renewable energy and energy efficiency investment to displace diesel generation under existing conditions, incentives and policies. SERIG seeks to provide opportunities for individual project development and a collective framework for national replication.
