In this webinar hosted by the Clean Energy Solutions Center in partnership with the 21st Century Power Partnership's Distributed Generation Campaign, presenters addressed DG interconnection processes and discussed approaches for mitigating impacts of distributed energy resources (DERs). Key topics covered included handling of large volumes of interconnection requests, interconnection of high penetrations of DG, and regulatory approaches for developing DG interconnection policies. Presenters included representatives of U.S. utilities and public utility commissions and Latin American energy ministries that have extensive experience with DG interconnection. Presentations were followed by an interactive question and answer session with the audience.
