The Clean Energy Solutions Center, in partnership with CanmetENERGY (Government of Canada), hosted this webinar on the Performance Analysis Module of RETScreen Expert, a clean energy management software system for energy efficiency, renewable energy and cogeneration project feasibility analysis as well as ongoing energy performance analysis. RETScreen Expert allows facility energy managers to easily measure and verify (M&V) the actual and ongoing energy performance of buildings, factories and power plants around the world. The webinar presentation was followed by an interactive question and answer session with the audience.

Dinesh S. ParakhDinesh S. Parakh, Program Advisor, RETScreen International

Dinesh S. Parakh manages strategic partnerships, communications, business development, and training & capacity building for RETScreen International at Natural Resources Canada’s CanmetENERGY research centre in Varennes, Quebec. He is also the lead author of the RETScreen Clean Energy Legal Toolkit and the RETScreen Clean Energy Policy Toolkit. A lawyer in Ontario, Dinesh has worked in international development since 1999 with extensive experience throughout Africa. He was formerly with the United Nations Development Programme and World Food Programme in South Africa, as well as the Canadian International Development Agency in Ottawa, Canada. Dinesh holds a B.A. from Yale University, and an M.A. and J.D. from the University of Toronto.

Kevin BourqueKevin Bourque, Project Engineer, RETScreen International

Kevin Bourque is part of the development team of the RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software at Natural Resources Canada’s CanmetENERGY research centre in Varennes, Quebec. He specializes in RETScreen software development (including the development of power, industrial, commercial, institutional and residential archetypes), providing RETScreen software technical support (including delivering training seminars and train-the-trainer workshops) and developing online distance learning tools such as the e-Textbook and case studies. Prior to joining NRCan, Kevin worked as a wind energy consultant specializing in the assessment, computer modelling and performance analysis of wind energy systems. He has been working in the energy field since 1999. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mining Engineering) from McGill University.
