Selected projects will receive no-cost coaching by professional consultants and, once they are investment-ready, benefit from PFAN’s investment facilitation services. A new policy brief by the International Renewable Energy Agency and the World Resources Institute finds that increasing the share of renewables, in particular solar photovoltaic and wind, in India’s power mix, and implementing changes in cooling technologies mandated for thermal power plants would lower carbon emissions intensity and substantially reduce water withdrawal and consumption intensity of power generation.
